Albawings is a happy low-fare & high-performance airline based in Albania. The airline was founded in February 2015 and is planning to connect Albania with European destinations. Albawings is committed to providing the cheapest flights to and from Albania, and doing so with a smile and providing a memorable service all the way.

Albawings History

ALBAWINGS’s was awarded the Air Operator‘s Certificate (AOC) by the Albanian Civil Aviation Authority on 04/04/2016.

ALBAWINGS is in market as the only local airline serving in a market of almost 2 million passengers per year.

Albawings Guests

Each one of our guests is extremely important for us. Each one of them is considered part of our small family. As such we want to be certain that every single one of our guests will fly with a smile and have a pleasant time on-board of our aircrafts.

Our plans are to grow constantly by continuously introducing new destinations, adding frequencies, publishing low-fares and working closely with inbound and outbound Tour Operators.

Albawings will play a first-hand role in developing the income tourism and introducing the beauty of Albania wherever that will be possible.

ALBAWINGS currently employs around 100 talented and hardworking people. Most of them have extensive experience in the tourism and airline industry. Whether it's overseeing flight operations, helping customers over the phone, or keeping our guests safe on-board, there is a seasoned professional taking care of things.

Albawings Aircrafts

The airline will start operation with one Boeing 737-500 the choice of many airlines and a perfect fit for our short haul flights between Albania and Europe. The 737 is operated by more than 500 airlines, flying to 1,200 destinations in 190 countries. With over 10,000 aircraft ordered, over 7,000 delivered, and over 4,500 still in service, at any given time there are on average 1,250 airborne worldwide.

On average, somewhere in the world, a 737 took off or landed every five seconds in 2006. Since entering in service the 737 has carried over 12 billion passengers over 120 billion km, and has accumulated more than 296 million hours in the air.

The 737 represents more than 25% of the worldwide fleet of large commercial jet airliners

ALBAWINGS is already planning 5 years ahead to add new aircrafts in the fleet according to its already approved strategic development plan.
